Tax and Accounting Tip of the Month
Don't forget this important tip as you're winding down your tax preparation. For those interested in donating to the Private School Tuition Credit, your new deadline for donations that still qualify for a credit on the 2011 return is April 15, 2012. Donations made between January 1, 2012 and April 15, 2012 can be used as either a 2011 or 2012 credit. Also, don't forget that beginning in 2011 they will no longer allow "swapping" of donations where you agree to make a donation on behalf of someone else's child if they make on on behalf of yours.
